No Bills Became Law in February 2025
February was the first full month of Trump's presidency, during which the executive branch appeared to take charge while Congress passed no bills into law.
I am publishing this newsletter a day later than planned because I mistakenly believed that my compiler had failed yesterday. However, upon investigation, I discovered that it had not malfunctioned; rather, no bills became law in February. This stands in stark contrast to December—the final month of the 118th Congress, when 73 bills became law—and January—the first month of the 119th Congress, when 63 bills became law. See you next month!
